Seller Proceeds, if Fiduciary
If the seller is a fiduciary, i.e., trustee, executor, administrator, etc., the seller’s proceeds will be in the form of a check payable to the individual in that capacity. We cannot make the check to the individual personally.
Most banks will not allow a fiduciary check to be deposited into a personal account. They will require you to open a fiduciary account to handle the matter.
Likewise we cannot wire funds due a fiduciary at closing to a personal account for the same reason.
