Amanda Claxton, a middle Georgia native, is an Associate Attorney at Martin Snow, LLP. Her practice areas include Trusts, Probate, and Estate Planning, Business Law, and Litigation.

In 2020, Amanda earned a B.A. in English from Young Harris College, graduating cum laude. Subsequently, in 2023, she graduated cum laude from Mercer Law School. While at Mercer Law School, Amanda engaged in various student organizations. She served as the President of the Rural Law Student Association, a role that allowed her to advocate for expanded access to justice in rural counties. She was also a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, the Golden Key International Honor Society, and Mercer Law Review.

Amanda was the recipient of several academic scholarships and awards, including the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia Exemplary Student Award and the Equal Access to Justice – Sic Vos Non-Vobis Endowed Scholarship. Amanda’s scholarly accomplishments extended to multiple publications in the Mercer Law Review, including one that addressed the issue of legal deserts in Georgia.

Amanda is committed to serving both her community and this profession. She is an active member of the William Augustus Bootle American Inn of Court, the Macon Bar Association, and the Macon Young Lawyers Division.
